Starting out

The Felt team do a round up every week of new shops and I really enjoy having a good look through them all. I know how hard it is to get started in a handmade business, and how exhilarating those first sales are.

I'm continually impressed by the quality of products and listings from new sellers, and here's a few whose work (and photographs) I'm loving - these guys will be racking up the sales in no time at all!

1. Sneaker  |  2. Hand Printed Table Runner  |  3. Coloured Bullseye Felt Brooch
4. Wellington Street  |  5. Eco Friendly Quick Red Fox
6. Edible Wafer Paper Butterflies  |  7. Original Munchbox  |  8. Whimsical Fairy Door
9. Romantic Floral Ampersand Print
For those of you who are interested, my 500 Fan Giveaway on Facebook was a huge success! A massive (overdue) thank you to everyone who entered or shared my posts. Over the five days of giveaways I had 277 entries, and now have 590 fans. I used used Shortstack, to run the giveaway, which worked really well - it was easy to set up, and free to use. I spent a lot of time designing the images for each day, but you could also use it to run a very simple promotion in no time at all. I'm also now only six sales away from the big 500 in my shop, so another giveaway is in the pipeline, hooray!
